PRESERVE OUR PLANET'S CORAL REEFS
We have an urgent & rapidly narrowing window of opportunity to preserve our planet's coral reefs.

OUR WORK
CCMI has over ten years of experience and success in the Caribbean:
(a) We have built the Little Cayman Research Center as a research and training facility. It's location is important as a demonstration site for coral reef resilience and as a reference site for scientists working on coral reefs with low human impact [more...]
(b) Through our "Ocean Literacy" program, CCMI is helping educate school teachers and children in ocean science and ensuring each child understands key concepts about the ocean and ocean life by the time they are 12 years old [more...]
(c) In addition, our "Green Guides" provides practical solutions to reducing global impacts on coral reefs [more...]
(d) As part of our NOAA partnership we have invested in an ocean observatory to better understand how changing climate is recorded in tropical oceans [more...]
Through our "Preserve Our Planet’s Coral Reefs" Campaign, we aim to:
(a) Bring attention to the major threats facing the world’s oceans
(b) Expand our work to better understand what makes a resilient reef
(c) Develop opportunities to train regional students, stakeholders & reef managers
