document.write("Dr. Cruz-Lopez is a Marine Forensic Biologist and is the coordinator of the Fish and Wildlife Forensics Program for the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. He has over twelve years of experience in the fields of Wildlife Forensics and Underwater Investigations. He is on staff at the Palm Beach State College Criminal Justice Institute and serves on the National Forensic Science Initiative at West Virginia University . His current research focuses in developing and applying the use of molecular genetics, comparative anatomy, and the forensic sciences to the protection of marine and inland wildlife resources. He has examined hundreds of pieces of evidence and has contributed information useful to obtain convictions in over 200 cases.<p>");
